Works and duties of Mountain Guides shall be as follows:-
(a) To work in coordination with the Sardar,
(b) To make necessary arrangements to prevent the misappropriation of goods due to negligence of workers,
(c) To guide the climbing party to climb the mountain only by the route mentioned in the permit,
(d) If for any reason the route of climbing above the base camp needs to be changed, contact the Liaison Officer and do so according to his order. (e) To give necessary advice to the members of the mountaineer party or the leader regarding climbing in a safe and simple manner,
(f) Liaison officer, any member of the mountaineer team, Sardar Uchai workers, base camp workers or local workers should help him in the rescue work if there is any objection. (g) Compulsorily bring the garbage produced when using the equipment above the base camp to the base camp,
(h) To work according to the instructions given by the Ministry, Liaison Officer and Sardar.
